Photographer André Dieterman followed Tim Knol and the Blue Grass Boogiemen during their theater tour in 2022, just after the lockdown period. With his analog Leica and Hasselblad camera he captured everything: from the magic on stage and the radiant faces in the audience to the quiet and sometimes raw moments behind the scenes. No glitter no glamour, but a sincere and intimate look at tour life in the Netherlands.
André shot dozens of rolls of film and bundled these unique black and white images in a beautiful photo book. "Tim Knol & Blue Grass Boogiemen by André Dieterman" is a visual report of a special tour, in which emotion and craftsmanship come together. The book will be published on February 7, 2025, at the same time as the new album by Tim Knol and the Blue Grass Boogiemen.
