Fats Domino was an American pianist, singer, and songwriter who became one of the pioneers of rock and roll in the 1950's. Born in New Orleans in 1928, he blended rhythm and blues with boogie-woogie piano to create a distinctive, infectious sound. His hits like 'Blueberry Hill,' 'Ain’t That a Shame,' and 'Walking to New Orleans' sold millions and influenced generations of musicians. With his warm voice and rolling piano style, Domino helped bring black music into the mainstream and became a beloved icon of American popular music.
